When you need to sell a home before you can buy, it’s often very stressful. One of the questions that I get all the time is, “How can I buy a house if I have to sell my house first?”
If you want to sell quickly, we offer a service that provides instant offers. Somebody will buy the house without you having to put it on the market. Otherwise, you could sell your home traditionally, temporarily move somewhere else, and then buy a house when the right one shows up on the market.
I have three different programs available to help people who must sell their homes before they can buy.
Alternatively, you could also find a house you’re interested in, list your house, and have a simultaneous close on both your sale and purchase. It’s not as difficult as you think it may be. One of the tricks that we use is negotiating the ability to stay in your house for a period of time while you find your next house. We’ve had some people stay up to 90 days in a home after they’ve already sold it. This prevents you from having to move twice.
The easiest method is to purchase without selling. However, qualifying for two loans and having two mortgages isn’t something everyone can afford.
